COVID-19 Update

Traditions Hotel and Spa continues to monitor developments regarding the impact of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, and we recognize it is important at this time to enhance our support of our hotel in the following ways:

The safety and health of our guests and employees remain a top priority for Traditions Hotel & Spa. We understand that with the rapidly changing updates on travel restrictions and cancelled or postponed public events, everyone is in different places when it comes to doing what is best for you and your family. We cannot stress enough that we believe in responsible and safe travel. Travel is who we are, and it is important to us that you feel confident when choosing and staying at Traditions Hotel and Spa.

As we continue to work through this challenging time to confront the impact of COVID-19 on our country, our communities and our businesses, we must move quickly together to address issues impacting our guests in the short- and long-term. Accordingly, we are again updating our cancellation policy to provide our guests the most flexibility we can offer during this period of uncertainty. We know this will have an impact on your bottom line in the short run, but we firmly believe that guests will reward all of us with their loyalty if we stand by them now.

For guests with existing individual reservations, including reservations with non-cancellable, pre-paid rates made directly with Choice Hotels, we will allow changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival as long as the change or cancellation is made by April 30, 2020.

For guests making new individual reservations directly with Choice Hotels between today and April 30, 2020, we will allow those reservations to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before a guest's scheduled arrival date. To cancel more than 24 hours in advance of stay, guests may call the hotel where their reservation is held or call our Customer Care Center at 1-888-770-6800.

Guests who booked via online travel agents, or other third parties, are advised to contact their booking provider in order to make any cancellations.

We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC) to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:
  • Our hotel team is receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas (including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant.
  • We will continue to adjust food and beverage service in accordance with current food safety recommendations.
  • We have increased the usage of hand sanitizers and sanitization methods.
